Equality. Social Justice to me means a fair distribution of every capacity needed. Social justice is the ability for people to live an authentic life, realize their true potential and actively contribute to society. It means that whatever your personal circumstances are, if you work hard at what you are good at you would be able to realize your true potential. It can go from unequal government regulations to inter-social treatment. To issues that have been made to issues in progress. A social issue that we face the most is poverty. People go suffer from lack of water access, food and shelter. Income is commonly used as an indicator of poverty also in situations where there is not necessarily severe deprivation. A social justice issue faced in class was in 2012 when the advance placement classes were removed for juniors and seniors. There were 2 teachers fired and Principal Farr, was fired as well. The students at the time striked, for their classes and their teachers to return. That is an example of social justice in action. Because the students thought that they needed their English teachers in school and they also didn't think that have their AP classes removed was fair. They did what they thought was best for not only their school but themselves as well.
Avoiding social justice is why we have not achieved it yet. The single fact that most people know that there is a problem in the world and they do not try to stand up and see in what they can help is why we haven't accomplished social justice. People like to stand around being bystanders rather than those leading to accomplish something. Which doesn't really take us anywhere because then that's what causes everybody else just be bystanders, and then no one gets around anywhere, because of the fear that they'll be the ones taking action for something we should all be cooperating in and being worried about. A historical obstacle right now is the way people view the social justice issue, because just like many people know that we are going through hard times with the candidate Donald Trump running for president people still manage to do nothing at all. And they just stay listening to what's going on and what might be happening if he does win the presidential election. People would rather go and talk than to take action and have those who have the rights to vote. Because most u.s citizens or residents are available to work and they do nothing to register themselves and actually vote for the presidential election.
